Exclusive use of The Bridge Cafe property including the cafe and gardens, the stables, the pizza oven either for your catering or as an outdoor fire feature, and the surrounding gardens and tracks. One of the delights of life is eating with friends, second to that is talking about eating. A ca, that through its interior charm, menu and its hospitality was hard to forget. 200 in 2011 and ventured into the world of business with small more than that dream, an adventurous attitude and a small army of anxious supporters.
Tucked away behind the Manawatu Gorge in native bush you will find The Bridge Cafe. And, of course we are here to ensure you are healthy fed before and behind your trek or perhaps to sneak some of our caramel slice for a mid trek snack. Originally built as a homestead, our space has flexibility to accommodate both your ceremony and reception with dancing under the stars to trail plus, as an bonus, we have some pretty notable photo locations surrounding us. A dazzling venue to compile and share appropriate honest food and from time to time is lucky ample to play host to weddings and notable occasions. Timeless Horse Treks offer abundant options ranging from a short stroll around the banks of the potent Manawatu River to overnight treks to a campsite at the top of the Tararua Ranges.

The space was built in 1993 as a homestead and tea rooms, and it was Be’s father Bob who was the hands after the recycled materials and native timbers that have transformed the space into what it is today. Bridge Ca is a quirky, country style ca situated in balance, just a short 25 tiny drive from Palmerston North. We consider ourselves very lucky to have a healthy established horse trekking operator on our back doorstep.
